CIACLA presents The Irish Contemporaries {VI}, the sixth edition of our ongoing visual arts exhibition celebrating contemporary Irish and Irish-connected artists in Los Angeles.

Taking place in Santa Monica during May and June 2027, the exhibition will bring together artists working across a range of disciplines and practices, creating a snapshot of contemporary Irish visual culture and the diverse perspectives shaping it today.

About the Exhibition

Since its launch, The Irish Contemporaries has created an international platform for artists from Ireland alongside Irish and Irish-connected artists based in Los Angeles and across the United States.

The sixth edition continues CIACLA’s commitment to presenting ambitious contemporary Irish visual art within an international context, encouraging exchange between artists, audiences and creative communities in Ireland and Southern California.

Working across painting, photography, sculpture, installation, moving image, performance and interdisciplinary practice, the participating artists will reflect the breadth of approaches found within contemporary Irish art today.
